Kuppso Coffee Club Terms and Conditions

These Customer Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the coffee subscription service (the "Service") provided by Kuppso Coffee Club Ltd ("We," "Us," or "Our"). By signing up for and using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before subscribing to our Service.

1. Subscription Overview

1.1. Subscription Plan: Our coffee subscription Service allows you to select a subscription plan that suits your coffee consumption. You can choose from the available plans, each of which offers a specific number of beverages per month.

1.2. Monthly Payment: You will be charged a monthly fee based on the subscription plan you select. The price will be clearly communicated to you before you subscribe.

1.3. Multiple Collection Outlets: You have the flexibility to collect your coffee from multiple collection outlets (Kuppso Coffee Club Partners). We will provide you with a list of available collection outlets and their operating hours through our website and app.

2. Subscription and Billing

2.1. Subscription Activation: By subscribing to our Service, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the monthly subscription fee. Your subscription will be active from the date of sign-up.

2.2. Billing Cycle: Your subscription fee will be charged on a monthly basis, on or around the same date in the month that you joined the Service. 

2.3. Payment Method: You must provide us with a valid payment method (credit card, debit card, or other approved method) to pay for your subscription. You are responsible for keeping your payment information up to date.

2.4. Free reusable cup: All customers who sign up for a monthly subscription will be eligible to receive a free Kuppso Coffee Club reusable cup. This will be automatically sent to the subscriber’s registered address shortly after payment has been made for their second consecutive monthly subscription fee. 

2.5. Who can order a Kuppso Coffee Club Subscription: We can only accept subscription orders from those aged 18 or over and who have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract with us. You must be located in the UK, and can't be in breach of any agreements with us or any of our Terms.

2.6. How to sign up to the subscription: To sign up to the Service, you will be required to provide an email address and then follow the procedure set out on the Kuppso Coffee Club app to create an account and subscribe.
2.7. Subscription renewal: Your Kuppso Coffee Club subscription will undergo automatic renewal on a monthly basis, persisting unless either you or we elect to pause or terminate it in accordance with these Terms. Each subscription period spans one calendar month, commencing upon the initial subscription date. To illustrate, if your subscription is approved on March 4th, its validity extends until midnight on April 3rd. The subsequent recurring monthly subscription fee will be billed on April 4th, covering the subsequent subscription month until midnight May 3rd. You accept that the Kuppso Coffee Club subscription will automatically renew and has automatically recurring payments as detailed in these Terms, and that you will be responsible for all recurring fees. 

2.8. If we cannot receive your subscription payment: If we experience a failed payment or you don’t pay, your subscription will be put on hold immediately until outstanding fees have been paid.


3. Changes, Cancellations and Pausing of your subscription

3.1. Modifying your subscription: You can modify your subscription plan at any time by accessing your account through our app or contacting our customer support. This includes upgrading or downgrading your subscription. If you upgrade during your billing cycle. You will receive the additional beverages into your account. To illustrate, if you upgrade from 7 beverages to 16 beverages, you will be provided with 9 beverages to bring you up to the total allowance for the next subscription level. You won’t be charged at the point of upgrade, you will be charged in the next billing cycle. For example, If you’re on subscription level 1 (£9.99 per month) and upgrade to subscription level 2 (£17.99 per month) mid billing cycle you will be charged pro rata the following month for the increase in beverages the previous month. For example, you will pay £1.79 for each additional beverage, in this scenario it will be 5 beverages. 5 x £1.79 = £8.95. This will be charged on top of your new subscription payment of £17.99. Totalling £26.94. 

If you downgrade your subscription this will become active in the next billing cycle. You will not receive a refund for any beverages unutilised. 

3.2. Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your subscription, you can do so free of charge during the first 14 days as long as you have not accessed the Service and used the Service to buy coffee. To cancel you need to by provide us with written notice of your intention to cancel and email this to support@kuppso.com. If you have already accessed the Kuppso Service or if you are beyond 14 days since you joined the Service, then cancellations will take effect from the next billing cycle. In this situation your subscription and beverage allowance will remain active until the end of this billing cycle. You can continue to use the coffee bulk buy package that we offer.

3.3. Refunds: We do not offer refunds for subscription fees already paid.

3.4: Pausing your subscription: You can pause your subscription at any time. Your subscription can remain on pause for a maximum of 31 days from the end of the billing cycle of the date that you paused. In this period, you won’t be charged. While your subscription is paused, you can still use our bulk buying service. To pause your subscription, you can do so through our mobile app within your account section.

4. Coffee Collection

4.1 The Kuppso Coffee Club App: Your beverages can only be ordered when activating them through the Kuppso Coffee Club App. We and our Partners cannot fulfil orders without the app. We do not accept paper copies of your QR codes and we or our Partners cannot provide beverages without a QR code. 

4.2. Collection Process: You are responsible for collecting your orders from the designated Kuppso Coffee Club Partners. Your order needs to be activated through the Kuppso Coffee Club app and the QR code scanned. 

4.3. Unclaimed Coffee: If you fail to collect your coffee within the specified time of each month of subscription, you will  forfeit that month's allowance, and we will not be liable for any refund or replacement.

4.4. Gifting Coffee: You can give a maximum of one of your monthly allowance to friends and family as a gift. This is managed through the Kuppso Coffee Club app. Other than using the gifting functionality, you are required to maintain the confidentiality of your QR codes and are prohibited from sharing them with any third party. It is your responsibility to ensure that your QR codes are not used without authorisation, and we shall not be held responsible for any loss you may incur. We are under no obligation to issue a replacement QR code if you fail to keep it confidential. In the event that we reasonably suspect a violation of these Terms through the sharing of your QR codes, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend your account pending investigation.

4.5. Eligible Beverages: Your entitlement to redeem your Kuppso Coffee Club Subscription extends to the following barista-made products: Latte, cappuccino, flat white, americano, espresso, tea, and hot chocolates. These specified beverages are exclusively offered in a cup size of 12 ounces or smaller. The inclusion of extra shots is at the discretion of the Kuppso Coffee Club Partner and may result in an additional charge. The availability of all eligible beverages is contingent upon equipment, staffing resources, and general terms and conditions. Additionally, specific terms, conditions, rules, or policies applicable at any particular Participating Partner may also govern such redemptions.

5. Privacy​

5.1. Privacy Policy: Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

6. Limitations of Liability

6.1. No Warranty: We make no warranties or representations about the quality, safety, or suitability of the coffee provided through the Service. You agree to use the Service at your own risk.

6.2. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.

7. Changes to the Terms

7.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes. Your continued use of the Service following the notice of changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

By subscribing to our coffee subscription Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Kuppso Coffee Club regarding the Service.
